AKYAPAK Four-Roll Plate Rolls AHS

AKYAPAK AKBEND Four-Roll hydraulic Plate Bending Machines are available in sizes from 1/8” to 8” in thickness and in lengths from 2’ to 40’. Quality certificates such as CE and ISO 9001 are proof of AKYAPAK’s professionalism, quality and service.

Standard Execution:
Design:Four Roll Design Advantages: Reduction of flat ends, single part entry, Pre-bending of material from both
sides of the machine and providing ease of plate alignment against back side roll.
Top roll and pinch roll individually driven via planetary gear reducers and hydraulic motors
Automatic surface speed compensation between top and pinch rolls
Drive protected against overload

Bearings:
All roll journals are mounted in sealed roller bearings reducing friction and maintenance.

Electrics and Motor:
Electric motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled type.
Motors and other electrical equipment operate on 230/3/60 or 480/3/60 volts.
All operator controls are low voltage.

Digital Readouts:
Two digital readouts are provided indicating precise position of the two adjustable side rolls

Hardened Rolls:
All machines are provided with induction hardened rolls, 52 to 55 Rockwell C.

Roll Adjustment:
All three adjustable rolls are independently, hydraulically adjustable via push button on the operator’s console.
Leveling system insures parallelism of all three adjustable rolls.
All three adjustable rolls have the ability to tilt, controlled directly from the operator’s console.
Pinch roll is set by adjustable pinch roll pressure control valve.

Roll Rotation Speed:
Machine is supplied with two speed rotation controlled by selector switch on the operator’s console.

Cone Rolling Attachment:
Machine is equipped with a roller type cone rolling attachment.

Drop End:Standard hydraulically operated drop end (hinge) controlled from operator’s console. Top roll raises when drop end is lowered for ease of part removal.

Operator’s Console:
All operator machine functions are located in movable rolling type console.
Functions include; roll adjustment, roll rotation, roll rotation speed, open / close of drop-end and digital readouts.
All roll movements are controlled by push buttons.

Safety
Emergency stop cable around perimeter of machine.
Emergency stop button on operator’s console.
Fixed steel guard around drop end.
Instant braking of roll rotation when pushbutton is released.
